  Came here for food and drinks with friends. The pub has been very well refurbished. Fantastic atmosphere and food. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. Highly recommended!

  Party of 5 last night. Long wait for food to arrive and some was cold and had to be returned to the kitchen. Triple cooked chips were frozen oven chips. Bottle of warm white wine served without ice. Server did not know what was available from the menu and had to keep leaving to ask someone. Not a good experience.

  How a place with so much food competition can get it so wrong is beyond me.
  
  Nachos served with chillies came with no chilli beef. Triple cut (cooked) chips were undercooked. The award winning cheese & ham sandwich can on plastic bread with some paper label still attached to the bread.
  
  If you want to order, you need to engage in a game of 'hunt the staff's
  
  Good luck to them - we won't be back!
